Overview of Sustainable Finance

In 2025, Inventec did not issue or invest in any sustainability bonds. The Company has established an ESG-linked interest rate adjustment mechanism with its lending banks, under which borrowing rates are adjusted based on the sustainability performance disclosed in the previous year's Sustainability Report, covering environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects. Preferential interest rates are granted when the agreed ESG-linked performance targets are achieved. In 2025, Inventec successfully secured a US$625 million ESG sustainability-linked syndicated loan. Hua Nan Commercial Bank served as the mandated lead arranger and bookrunner, with Bank of Taiwan acting as the documentation agent, alongside the participation of multiple financial institutions. Originally launched at US$500 million, the facility was successfully closed with a 1.5x oversubscription. The syndicated loan proceeds will be utilized to expand AI server production capacity and strengthen the Company’s diversified overseas manufacturing footprint, thereby enhancing operational resilience and global competitiveness. Concurrently, by linking the loan to ESG performance indicator— including greenhouse gas emission reduction, renewable energy adoption, waste management, and corporate governance evaluations—this initiative underscores the Company's commitment to fully integrating sustainability principles into its financial decision making. Together with its financial partners, the Company aims to drive the low-carbon transition and foster long-term, robust growth.
