Inventec values employee health and actively promotes a healthy workplace. We have formulated a health management policy that emphasizes "implementing health promotion, pursuing physical health, focusing on mental health, and carrying out disease prevention and treatment". We have planned six dimensions for a healthy workplace: "physical fitness promotion, mental health, healthy diet, breastfeeding, smoke-free workplace, and safe and healthy working environment". Based on these, we implement and develop various health management initiatives, aiming to promote workplace health and create a healthy working environment.

Employee Health Management

 

In terms of health care, Inventec cooperates with medical and health institutions to organize various health lectures and health education consulting activities, and jointly organizes various health activities with company associations. The company has an internal health center to provide medical treatment services and physician consultation services. Colleagues can make an appointment for consultation and let doctors assist in providing health-related assessments. Our employees have regular health check-ups every year, and based on the results, we implement health management measures and conduct preventive healthcare activities. Beyond caring for the health of our employees, Inventec extends healthcare support to their family members by helping them arrange health check-ups, ensuring their well-being. In addition, for employees engaged in particular operations, Inventec conducts special health check-ups (e.g. ionizing radiation, dust or noise, etc.) for employees on a regular basis in accordance with local regulations.

Results of Employee Health Services

In 2023, a total of 15,913 employees completed health checkups, and there were no recorded cases of occupational diseases among employees. To promote work-life balance and improve physical and mental health of colleagues, Inventec has launched a sports incentive program since 2020 to encourage employees to maintain regular exercise habits and develop a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, during the peak of the pandemic, we organized online courses challenging participants to engage in continuous 20-day exercise routines, which help our employees relieve the pressure of their busy lives and give their senses and bodies a full rest.

A Company Caring for Pregnant Women and Pursuing Employee Well-Being

To provide a supportive environment for working mothers, we have set up well-equipped nursing rooms across all our factories. Our factories in Taiwan have been recognized for excellence, receiving honors from Taipei City and Taoyuan City for our superior lactation rooms. These rooms are accessible without any time restrictions. In addition to these facilities, we hold a number of seminars on breastfeeding, parenting, and child healthcare from time to time, providing valuable knowledge and resources for our employees. We have also put in place several childbirth-friendly policies, including a birth congratulatory bonus of NT$60,000 and Welfare Committee subsidy of NT$6,000 per child, doubling the benefits for new parents. Since 2023, we have provided a commuting allowance of NT$5,000 per month for both going to and returning from work.

  • Childcare facilities: Sign a partnership with kindergartens to offer discounts on tuition and registration fees. 
  • Childcare contributions: Provide a one-time allowance of NT$66,000 for childbirth.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

At Inventec, we are committed to creating a happy workplace that takes care of our employees' well-being comprehensively, including work-related aspects, personal lives, and health. In addition to our healthcare center with weekly doctor consultations, we also have visually impaired masseur available on-site. These massage services help employees relieve stress and boost their spirits. On the mental front, since 2022, we have partnered with professional consultants to offer counseling services to our employees. This service assists in addressing various personal issues, ensuring work efficiency and performance are maintained. Our goal is to create a work environment where employees can work with peace of mind and fully utilize their skills.
