Compensation Management

At Inventec, we uphold the principle of equal pay for equal work, providing fair compensation and benefits that align with legal requirements of the respective operating locations and are relevant to job performance. Deducting wages as a means of disciplinary action is strictly prohibited.

 
Inventec's Commitment to Living Wage

Inventec believes that every worker has a right to take a living wage that is sufficient to meet basic needs and provide some discretionary income. The Company also strives to work on living wages by regularly reviewing employee salaries and compensation in each location. The Company is committed to complying with all applicable laws, conventions, and regulations.

Performance Management

Each year, Inventec conducts management by objectives (MBO) through a performance management cycle, which includes setting performance objectives, ongoing performance communication, and performance evaluations. The results of these evaluations serve as the basis for rewards, assignments, promotions, and various employee management decisions. To ensure fair, just, and reasonable performance management, all global factories conduct training and provide professional guidance and consultation for managers at all levels, introducing correct performance management methods to achieve organization’s goals. In 2023, 100% of Inventec’s employees underwent performance evaluations. To further enhance the fairness of performance management, specific project personnel in Taiwan's factories are evaluated through multi-dimensional assessments, providing managers with diverse performance evaluation references.  In addition, employees are encouraged to proactively set ambitious OKR goals. Managers maintain agile management by regularly and continuously communicating to monitor the execution results of OKR goals.

 

The objective of performance evaluations lies not only in reviewing past performance with improvement measures but also in developing future performance. To ensure that employees fully understand their work performance outcomes, Inventec has persistently optimized the performance management system throughout 2023. This involved enhancing the continuous communication and feedback mechanisms for managers, allowing employees to instantly understand their own performance. Consequently, it facilitates more focused discussions on objective tasks and timely adjustments to objective strategies, thereby reducing any discrepancies in perception between managers and employees.


For those employees whose performance is deemed substandard, Inventec adopts an approach centered on guidance and communication to collaboratively improve performance, aiming to enhance employees’ efficiency at work and boost the overall productivity and competitiveness of the Company.

Other Activities

We organize various events in conjunction with holidays, such as Halloween costume parties and Christmas celebrations. Additionally, we host activities like the "Shoebox Passing on Love" event and weight loss competitions.

The company provides support for employees to form voluntary clubs. Currently, we have a total of 31 clubs covering various categories such as sports, arts and culture, music, handicrafts, and charity. This allows our employees to find balance between work and leisure and expand their social circles with like-minded individuals.

Retention Bonus: The scope of application is the person of R&D department with at least 1 year of seniority and is nominated by the manager.

Friendly Workplace with Comprehensive Care

In order to take care of the health of employees, our medical room is equipped with facilities like blood pressure monitors, weight scales, and medical beds, and nursing staff is available for emergency medical care and healthcare consultation. In addition, we have an on-site doctor every week to provide health consultations and guidance to high-risk employees. We offer an EAP to address stress management, interpersonal communication, and other counseling needs. To encourage a healthy lifestyle, we organize sports incentive programs, fostering a culture of physical activity in the workplace. When employees have better physical and mental health, the company will have better motivation to move forward.

Reasonable and Sound Leave System

We provide a comprehensive leave system that encourages employees to balance work and life, and utilize their time off properly. 
Additional leave that are better than statutory requirements: birthday leave to promote work-life balance. Promotion of maternal health protection measures: comprehensive care services such as maternity leave, paternity leave, childcare leave, breastfeeding breaks, and childbirth-friendly measures.
